book recommendations needed!
hey folks! help needed please. my bookcase is looking for new friends and im looking for recommendations. my usual thing is sci fi/fantasy. i love Neil Gaiman, Jasper FForde, Terry Pratchett but also like general fiction. Not a fan of chick lit and im not great with Jane Austen! So please help guys!

i have a blog called the 451 challenge which encourages people to choose books from a selected list to try out. or else sometimes the richard and judy bookclub has g8 reads on it. and often they're on special offer.

If you like sci-fi/fantasy, you should try out the Percy Jackson series. Sure, they're YA books, but they're funny and very smart. They're loaded with references to Greek mythology.

Try reading 'the messenger' by markus zusack. Its supposed to be teen reading, but its enjoyable.
